Design for Change Session

Last December 1, 2025, 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 – 𝐇𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 held a 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 (𝐃𝐅𝐂) 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 facilitated by 𝐌𝐦𝐞. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐈𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐚, with the Assistant Principals, Club and Organization Moderators, Grade Level Advisers, Quality Assurance and Research Development Coordinator, and Student Activities In-Charge in attendance. The session focused on the empowering belief that even a small group of individuals can create meaningful change.

Mme. Idulsa highlighted that innovation begins with people—the courage to think differently, guide students differently, and inspire change. She emphasized that innovative leaders encourage autonomy and support team growth. She also reminded teachers of their essential role 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Participants also explored the 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 framework: 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥, 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐃𝐨, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞— a model that motivates educators and learners to become agents of change. In the workshop that followed, teachers collaborated within their departments to create and present outputs that showcased creativity and teamwork.

The session is encapsulated with the reminder from the great Sistine Chapel painter, Michelangelo who said: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘪𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘵.” It encouraged everyone to aim higher and dream beyond the familiar.

The seminar concluded with renewed inspiration—𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙.
